Let me make my official announcement....
Jake Sullivan is a d-bag of the first order.
Not really. Jake was primarily concerned with Harrison. He did not want him to committ too young and then when the word of his talent got out (which happened at a Nike camp 2 summers ago) having Harrison in the spot of being committed to the home town team and getting pursued like he has.
That would have been tough on the kid and Jake did not want him going through that. He advised Harrison to let the process play itself out. A verbal after your freshman year, or anytime for that matter does not bind.
Yes, he is. Everyone should be able to see through his BS. He's only looking out for himself and it's so transparent.
You are very bitter towards a great young man. Jake gave more and gives more to ISU than you will ever think about.
The one thing that I have heard with my own ears is that Sullivan doesn't like McDermott's system and doesn't think that good players would come here because of it.
Jake's disdain for McDermott seems to have diminished some lately though.
McDermott's system is a harder sell to the ball hogs of the world, but winning sells itself in some ways and once the W's get rolling to system will fade into the background.
