Are they just a simple color or something like that? Girls are putting the color of the bra on their status to raise support for breast cancer or something like that. That has been going on for a few weeks so not sure if its what your looking for or not.
I saw people doing this too. Back a few years ago on MySpace people used to spread these notes where it had listed the months of the year, days of the month and color shirt you were wearing. You would find your birth month and each month had a different saying which was the first part of the sentence. Then you would find your birth date and again each date had a different saying which was the middle part of the sentence. Then you would find what color shirt you were wearing and that was the third part. Not sure how this got transferred over to facebook however.
A lot of females are putting up things like, 8 inches, 7 1/2 inches and so on. I know what they want us to think but I am guessing it is the most hair they have had cut off or something like that.

I'm always amazed at the updates, a perfect breeding ground for the drama queens.
Serious, at least once a week I'll see something like this...
"My life sucks! Everything is bad, I hate my life, etc"
Not much longer, from the same person...
"Best day every!"
And so on. A handful of people do this.
Or the status updates full of rage toward someone/something for no reason, the "haters don't affect me" updates (which is ironic because if the "haters" (whatever a hater is) have no impact on you, why post an update about them?) and of course - the copying/pasting of music lyrics as if it's supposed to be some sort of prophecy.
I love Facebook for the networking and marketing - but it's pretty amusing to look at some of that stuff too.
