I have read that KSU pays an assistant coach more than ISU pays McDermott way too many times on this board.

May I suggest this place KSUFans - Kansas State Football Basketball Baseball Sports News Blogs Fans

Frankly, that assistant coach recruits more quality players in 1 year than McDermott does in 2 years. He is worth every penny that he is paid. Experience has taught me that one normally gets what one pays for and not one thing more! Maybe ISU should ante up so McDermott can hire an outstanding recruiter. You all are tired of mediocre basketball teams, correct?

To get back to the OP's main statement, how is it magic if the #9 team is beating the #1 teams at home? That doesn't seem like such a huge upset to me which wouldn't require much magic...

I think we have enough students on this board that we could get that started easily. I know the cheerleaders try to get us to chant I S U, but it never lasts. This would be easier and better sounding.

Someone put a post it up for that. Maybe get the band involved with it somehow.

I never knew what they were saying until I read it in Sporting News or SI. Just listening to it on tv, you'd never know what it was unless...you knew what it was.
