Ah, a perfect ending to the McD era at home. I hope this is the last time the fans in Ames are "graced" by his presence. We have to get better guards, plain and simple.

That pass should have hit Dendy in chest, taken to hoop by guard or flipped back to Brackins.

I've never seen a team with the will to lose like this one has.

I really think we're watching Greg McDermott walk off the court at Hilton for the last time as an ISU coach.

I would of disagreed with you, until just 3 minutes ago...

His look and body language looks like he knows.

I really hope this is the end of McDermott.

Man. I'm gonna be honest, and I was gonna say this whether we won or lost, we really didn't have any business being in that game. Mizzou couldn't hit the broad side of a barn forever and missed wide open layups as well. I guess it was made up for by Taylor's Circus Incorporated, but man.

We have the ball with the shot clock off with a chance to win and somehow we let the other team win on a lay-up as time expires. Thanks Coach for all the hard work you and your staff have put in but it is time to say good-bye.

With a chance to win twice, we couldn't even manage a shot in regulation.

Final record will be 14-18. At the start of the season, we were arguing about how many games we'd win passed 20. What a joke.

You can't let a team like mizzou just catch the ball and dribble pretty much 90 feet without anyone stopping him. Thats bad defense right there.
I do feel for the guys though. I mean they are about 20 total points from going to the NCAA tourney. how many 2,3,4,5 point losses does this team have?

What a brutal, painful loss. This one somehow hurts even more than all the other really close losses we have. It's like Groundhog Day with slightly more painful twists on how we die at the end of games. Brutal...
