So 3 all americans for ISU, and 3 that need 1 more win to get AA. I *think* there's nothing left for ISU until tonight's session.

If we manage to go 9-0 tonight (3 wins on championship side and 2 wins by each of our three remaining wrestlers on the consolation side), we would be up to 88 points, assuming we don't score any bonus points. This is obviously unlikley, but just goes to show that there are a lot of points left to be scored.
So, just to update on ISU, Iowa and Cornell's individuals (correct me if I'm wrong):

ISU only has 3 left in the consolations. Jensen, Sorenson, Burk, and Ward have all been eliminated.
Duh. Totally correct. I forgot to subtract Sorenson when I was doing it in my head! I knew we were farther behind than that number of consos would have indicated... Sorry!
Is now in the consos, but Cyler already took plenty of points that were rightfully ours to Peanut State, for no apparent reason than to be poorly coached by his brother.:wink:
Unless you characterize "what he started" as wrestling for his brother. Do you think he would've been at ISU to begin with if not for Cael?
Ugh. Plenty of people care I would think. We're just having a discussion. You don't have to participate.
Obviously we would still like to have had Cyler, but I seriously doubt it's going to make a difference as to whether we would have won the title or not. Sure, it might impact whether we come in second, third, etc., but a wise man once told me, "If you're not first you're last."

Well, I like to read this thread to stay updated on what's going on at the tournament, not to see a rehashing of what should or should not have happened last year.
FWIW, I have no hard feelings for Cael or Cyler or any of the Sanderson brothers. But, they're not on my team anymore, so outside of a general curiosity of did he win or lose, no, I don't care.
