Who would you say is the most under-appreciated Cyclone of the past 10 years?

Tyray Pearson was the best of the players out of all the guys you mentioned

I think Hamilton was under appreciated while here. He played the best team defense and crashed the offensive glass. Plus he could make FT's.

Tyray Pearson always gets lost in the shuffle when talking about the best players of the last ten years.

If you really want most under-appreciated players you could just name any guy that rode the bench for 4 years, but busted his butt in practice every day.

I would say Curtis Stinson. That kid gave his all everytime out and I would always hear fans just dogging him out. I loved watching that guy play the game.

Out of the players listed I went with Rancik just because he's the starter that seems to be mentioned the least from those championship teams. I read things about Tinsley, Fizer, Horton, Nurse, Johnson, Shirley, etc. all the time. If I remember correctly, there was actually some talk that Rancik might get drafted the year Tinsley was.

I can't vote for Rancik simply because of the major, major, major defensive lapse against Hampton that basically cost us the game.

Fair? Maybe not. But we're part of that damned NCAA tourney montage because of him, and I cannot get over that.

Tyray Pearson by FAR....he was a force down low on a sub par team that would beat any of Mac's teams.....his best year, 2001-02, he averaged about 18 pts and 7 boards...he rebounded, scored and ran the court...simple put...id say he was a poor man's marcus fizer....

I'll have to go with Pearson as well. He was the garbage man, just incredibly scrappy down low. It's stupid, but I always liked how his hair would change for darn near every game. Afro, cornrows, etc. He was just cool.
