McClellan scares me, but who else do they have?

McClellan is our best reliever. He was in contention for the No. 5 spot in the rotation but got bumped to the bullpen because no one else on our roster is reliable. There are only like 4 games with more than one year of major league experience.

Thats just it, they all can be a little shaky even Franklin. Id say Miller is probably our best reliever.

Shelby Miller? He is starting the season at Quad Cities.

This guy could go down as one of the best ever.

The new hitting coach is "supplying" him with some great advice.

Honestly, the pitchers in the league need to grow a pair and get him off the plate. Throw way inside and when he gives you that look of his, do it again. Otherwise, he's gonna kill you.

David Wright hit one out 1st inning!!!! should i go crazy about that?

If I was a Mets fan I would. Sorry, if you're not excited about your team on Opening Day than I question whether you are even a fan at all. The difference is Pujols plays for a Midwest team and this is a message board full of sports fans from the Midwest, so it is perfectly valid to discuss here.

Suprised to see Franklin in there with a 7 run lead and disappointed to see him struggling. If he is gonna be shaky I'll need some Tums this year.

The Cub fans in this thread have been right all along. There's no reason to talk about Pujols when we can talk about Zambrano's impending melt down on opening day. :biglaugh:
