I love the comment by the Iowa fan that said that ISU doesn't travel well enough to join the Big10. Didn't we just get picked over Missouri for the Insight bowl because their fanbase didn't travel? And at that Insight bowl, didn't ISU fans outnumber Minnesota fans?

We're not in a bad position, even if Moo U and kNU leave. There are plenty of other schools that could be picked-up to fill their spots. I don't understand the concern.

I think the people going doom and gloom about the whole thing are overreacting. I'm confident ISU will end up in a BCS auto qualifying league no matter what happens. That said if Nebraska and Missouri left it would be a bit of a blow due to leaving us fairly geographically isolated from the rest of the Big 12.

Yeah, they are MSU fans, just remember that. Some of them are right and some of them have no idea. I bet the AAU part went over the heads of most on that board.

Unfortunately they think we're all emphatic doomsayers instead of just a vocal few.

If Baylor and Kansas State can stay in a BCS conference, you better believe that ISU can, too. I think people forget that there are other schools in the Big 12 that would be in a worse position than ISU. Gotta love the offseason!

With all of the severe budget cuts and department "streamlining" going on in East Lansing right now (much worse than here) they'd better worry about their own school and less about ISU.

I love how they bash on ISU football when MSU has sucked for years. They got beat by Minnesota this year. Why in the world would they want Missouri and Nebraska and Texas to join the Big 10? Seems like 3 more sure loses in football every year. Got to love it.

I like MSU football. I think they are a quality program and have lots to offer. I respect their fans' opinions of our program.

I do believe they were mocking Iowa fans with that comment.

That said, many posters on here would do the same thing if the shoe was on the other foot.

I think the Big 12 will stay the big 12 and add maybe add Arkansas, TCU, SMU or Rice.

MSU fans have a major inferiority complex. They have a serious case of "little brother syndrome" and just need someone to rag on. Doesn't matter how many BB titles they get, they will always be in the shadows of the maze and blue.
