So, is anyone else listening to 1460? Steven Sipple is basically calling BS on everything Chip Brown has reported about Nebraska.

As someone who listened to Chip live on ESPN it sure seemed like the guy was not 100% sure of everything he was saying. Almost like he was in his underwear in his basement surrounded by Texas posters.

And yet, in the other thread, you were talking about how this is EXACTLY what Texas wanted as a way to pull the strings and move to the Pac 10. Make up your damned mind on what is happening, instead of latching on to the latest rumor.

Maybe I don't completely understand the power of Osbourne, but since this is much more than just an athletic decision, why does he have all the power? Maybe that's just a sign of how they treat academics over there.

Re: Nebraska is leaving? Good riddance!

Good riddance! See ya Nebraska! Running with their tail between their legs after Paul Rhoads' team whipped them in Lincoln with a backup freshman QB and RB starting. Nebraska basketball was the only team in the conference to be thorougly dominated by Greg Mcdermott's ISU basketball teams, now that is quite a feat.

Could Nebraska be any lamer? Oh yeah, you have to hide your beer in a cup when tailgating in Lincoln. We may have lost a school with a good football history and a "Name Brand", but we also rid ourselves of the biggest group of D-Bags in the Midwest. Good riddance.

Wow you are an idiot.

Are you serious? You think one has to do with the other? By the way, your definition of a whipping is a little skewed..

Here nor there
Ever looked at the admissions requirements of BSU? Or maybe their performance in sports other than football?

Yep, BSU takes partial qualifiers. In the new conference that is over. I also expect there to be a compromise between the schools if a new conference is formed.
I know it is hard not to sensationalize the unfortunate transition, but try to be consistent in removing benefits schools enjoyed pre-realignment.

To be discussed by the Nebraska BOR, it has to be on the meeting agenda 24 hours prior to 1:00 on Friday. If its not on the agenda, it won't be discussed at the BOR. According to Sipple on 1460 he had NU coaches contacting him to find out what' going on. If they go, good luck, NU is not going to be the top dog in any sport in the B10. They won't dominate football, women's or mens basketball, volleyball, wrestling, baseball, softball, and the list goes on. They may win a conference championship in men's track and bowling, but that's about it - it is purely a money move as has been discussed many times.
