should all be asked to join the big 10. Split into a west and east conference. That way the big ten gets all of Nebraska, all of Kansas, all of Missouri. And the biggest advantage is they actually become relevant in sports instead of just fan base numbers. You get regional rivalries, 2 teams that have been ranked #1 in FB in the past 3 years, it improves your basketball status, keeps the gov. off your backside, cuts travel costs and so on and so on................ What do you think??

And I apologize if someone else posted this, I haven't read them all.

This would be what would happen if money didn't matter and you just wanted "big" schools geographically located close to each other with some tradition.

Unfortunately, this is ONLY about $$$$$ and this just doesn't do it. Nice thought as I've had this arguement with my friends but it just will NEVER happen.

I don't think the big 10 take K-state because they are a tier 3 school and the big ten would want to make it appear that they had academic standards they considered over number of TV sets.

The B10 has NO interest in that scenario. None. Nada. Zip. Zilch. It will not happen nor is it even remotely being considered. The remaining B12 teams better start thinking like Nebraska and Colorado and quit waiting for a life jacket to bne thrown to them. Chart a path good for ISU and forget the supposed ties that bind you to other schools.

I'm sorry, but please name a division that has been more irrelevant in football in the past 10 years than the Big XII North. We haven't won the title since 2003. The Big 10 probably won't happen. I think our best case scenario is for us all to join the Big East, or for all of us to join the Mountain West which could make it competitive enough to be BCS eligible.
