Are JP and GG planning on having a news conference? I would like to hear their analysis from the ISU side of things.

I think I am with Tech and keep the ear open because this stuff is going to happen every year until 2015-2016.

I read where ESPN/ABC renegotiated the deal effective immediately and put more money in to keep the Big 12 conference going.

They said that ESPN did this because Fox Sports was going to own the new Pac 16 Conference deal and in the future could effectively make ESPN irrelevant in the college football world.

Now ESPN owns ALL of the highly coveted Central Time Zone. Costs more money now for ESPN. But remember that Fox indirectly owns Direct TV and almost half the Big Ten Network. And Fox was behind the Pac 10 expansion.

Exit fees go to Texas, OK, A&M for staying in conference....not to the "5"

Chris Level just had this tweet.

Beebe is confirming that MU, KU, KSU, BU and ISU all gave in and will give the buyout fee monies to UT, OU and A&M.

This is why I'm glad that Pollard met with KU, K State, Missou and Baylor so we have a backup plan.

When is the Big East contract up??

Only gain we get in revenue appears to be from fewer teams sharing same pot
