My question is: Why the hell was rhoads talking up our D-line before the season? And Arnaud? He kept saying, "These guys are ready"
Ready for what? A decent game against northern illinois? Man, we showed them!
Its still early, but I have seen nothing that proves to me what dramatic change he's seen in practice from these guys year 1 to year 2
I'm not sure if it's ISU's d-line struggling more than expected or if Iowa's o-line is actually way ahead of where most Iowa fans thought they would be this early in the season. Iowa's o-line was supposed to struggle at least early because of inexperience, but they have done pretty well.
I wouldn't worry too much yet. The d-line has had one pretty good game and one bad game.
