So NU football was in jeopardy of becoming nonviable w/o jumping ship to the B10?
I said that college football was about money and that's just the way it is.
You said that it wasn't about money and tom osborne made it about money.
I said that all sports programs at all college are based only on financial gain.
I illustrated this to you by giving you an example of a small college football team that was disbanded because they didnt bring in enough money.
You said I was comparing pacific football to NU football.
I said that I was only giving you an example of a team that got the axe due to revenue not being high enough for said team.
I don't see anywhere that we said NU football was in jeopardy of becoming non-viable, the point of this whole argument (my point at least as I've lost what you're trying to say) is that
ALL colleges are going to go where the money is. ISU would have gone, MU would have gone, and NU did go for one, because they were the only ones to get invited and two, the money was better. I get that fans are upset about that and I even understand it, but don't act like ISU wouldn't have jumped at the opportunity if it was given to them.
