Nothing wrong with good clean college pranks. But an apple or orange to the head or face could seriously injure someone. "Nebraska fans" is going to include senior citizens, children, babies, etc. Really? It's just a horrible idea.

I'm sorry, even if you are a senior citizen or a baby, you made the choice to be a husker so you should deal with the consequences. Those consequences are getting hit in the head with fruit. It's pretty simple..if you don't want to get pelted with fruit, don't be a dirty husker.

Considering I'm going to be in the student section wearing Husker gear, I hope this rumor is false! Or I at least hope it's not going to be former high school pitchers chucking frozen oranges at me. I can handle a few things my way (considering I'll be in 'enemy' territory), but if I have to keep my head on a swivel for fear of getting tanked by a fruit, well, that will speak volumes to me about Iowa State fans. Oh, and I'm going with one of my friends who is a student at ISU, who's a Husker fan, so they'll be throwing stuff at one of their own.

Don't be that guy. Wear neutral colors or just blend in and keep to yourself otherwise don't sit in the student section.

Only place I can get a $25 ticket! I'm definitely not going to be obnoxious or anything...but I know there is an inherent risk involved haha

Don't take offense if I spit on you. And if you're an Iowa State student wearing Husker ****, you aren't one of "my own".

and you can still walk that $25 ticket over to the hillside.

Unless Iowa State is doing a gold-out this weekend, my red shirt won't stick out among the cardinal shirts.
