...that Martinez is indeed out tomorrow and the Huskers are down to Cody Green. I have a source (codename: Koala) with multiple sources I consider to be reliable.

Doesn't really matter who the QB is. All they need is someone to hand ball to helu all day.

Great, I just got a new boss this week, and all he's going to see today is me refreshing this thread.

I'm so fired.

I really hope Matinez plays. Ive been waiting to watch him play all year.

Plus I dont think the outcome of the game has anything to do if he will play or not.

Their oline will dominate us all day. Shouldnt matter if their punter plays QB.

We just need to pray that Nebraska gives us another one with turnovers.

Gonna be a great day for FB!

Wait, you want their star QB to play just so you can see him live, even though we have a better shot if he is injured? And you think we have the same chance if they don't have a dual threat QB in the game? Are you sure you aren't a Nebraska or Iowa fan? I understand thinking the game is out of reach, but yoru reasons for thinking so don't seem at all homerish to me.

you are crazy.

I want a rash of twisted ankels as Big red gets off the bus and the waterboy/towel girl end up playing in the backfield.

This is my nomination for schizophrenic post of the day. "We're going to get killed but it should be a great game!"

Not me, I just want a W on the books. I don't care how it is achieved or who plays or doesn't play. Just win, baby!

I heard Cody Green is starting, not because Martinez and Lee are hurt, but because they are mad that we beat them with our back up qb and running back last year. They are just trying to top us.

Normally I do too, but with this being Nebraska's last visit to Ames, along with their #7 rating, along with this game being nationally televised on ABC, I could go on and on, but I think you get my point in that I will take a W over Nebraska any way possible on Saturday.

I'm normally the same way, but considering the kNU AD Osborne nearly nuked ISU athletics back into the stone age because of their greed (not that I necessarily blame them - I would want ISU to make the same move), kNU can burn this year for all I care.

Hasn't stopped husker fans from describing last years loss as laying an egg. Your boy Todd Neeley puts "loss" in quotes.

It's seem like it is indeed "just you".

If need be...I will be waiting with my kids BB gun to take pot shots at his ankle as he walks into the Jake.

Just waiting on the call.

Now we need Helu and Crick to pull each others groins and not be able to play.
