I think for ISU to win; the Cyclones need to take some big risks and all most sell-out against stopping Helu and go for strips on all most every occasion. It may result in getting burned; however, ISU has to take some risks when the D-line is undersized.

I am totally jacked about tomorrow's game. Go Cyclones!

Why don't we just onside every kick and go for it every 4th down while we're at it.

I really hope Matinez plays. Ive been waiting to watch him play all year.

Plus I dont think the outcome of the game has anything to do if he will play or not.

Their oline will dominate us all day. Shouldnt matter if their punter plays QB.

We just need to pray that Nebraska gives us another one with turnovers.

Gonna be a great day for FB!

So you're saying there is a chance?!?!

I actually hate the on-side kick calls. Too much down side risk. However, I would love to see us go for it on every occasion where it is 4th down and 5 yard or less -- regardless of field position.

I'm ready to jizz myself; I'm so excited about tomorrow's game. Go Cyclones!

I head that Lamaak is going to be starting at Nose Guard in order to give us some extra size on the D-Line. This is from a highly legitimate source... the squirrel in my front yard who watched practice yesterday.

...that Martinez is indeed out tomorrow and the Huskers are down to Cody Green. I have a source (codename: Koala) with multiple sources I consider to be reliable.
I remember a few years ago when the Iowa QB was definitely out -- he wasn't but we did still knock him out of the game -- well actually he knocked himself out trying to make a tackle!!

This would be totally awesome if he can't play and ISU wins. I can just see the Huskers making excuses for the next 50 years about how they lost their last 2 games against us. Their excuse will go something like "but we were playing with our backup QB and playing on the road..." our response "yeah, just like us the year before when we beat you then too". HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA.

Yeah, I'm getting the cart before the horse but this would be so awesome its beyond belief.

FWIW --

Most Nebraska fans on message boards don't think it matters who trots out at QB. They still think they'll handle us convincingly because of some mysterious revenge factor over their failure to protect the football 8 times last year.

No, not really. Our defense is a sieve between the 20s. What does it matter if they move from the 25 to the 15 instead of the 45 to the 15? It doesn't. The upside is also much larger than the downside. We struggle at times to move the ball. If we have to move it 20 yards less, that is way better for us plus they don't have the ball. One more thing-I don't think we have lost one of these calls.

The OP rumor definitely has truth to it. Neither Martinez or Lee have officially been ruled out, but it is highly likely neither of them play due to injury.

I don't mind them as long as they are not just trying to "surprise" them and they are based on something they saw on film. The UT onside kick was called because they noticed that the Texas players were not paying attention. Similar to how Wisconsin called the fake punt against Iowa.

Oh, so like last year when the Clones weren't at all close to full strength (without starting QB, RB, and many players suffering from H1N1) for the Fuskers game. I wouldn't think any excuses would be coming from Lincoln after that one. Not one Clone touched any of the Nebby players to cause the fumbles. Not a bit of modifications to the game plan were made by CPR and staff in the 2nd half to confuse Ratface's coaches.

Yeah can see where the strong No Excuses philosophy works for you and the Fuskers. I don't think I've ever heard you guys losing a game without excuses coming out.

I will go with this....

I really couldn't care less if people believe me or not. I actually have 3 exrtremely legit inside sources, and what the original poster says is true. No one has been ruled out, but like I said, it is very unlikely Martinez and Lee play.

On behalf of, well, everyone everywhere, please don't.

I would like to know where he tailgates so I can hopefully avoid that area tomorrow.

The good news is that I'm sure there is still a Service Master truck hanging around from the Hilton flooding.
