Personally I think this is a plot by the North Koreans. I think they bought subs from the Chinese and armed them with the nukes that we and everybody else knows they already had. And they have also launched numerous long range missiles. All of which mysteriously malfunctioned. Right ... ha, ha, ha. They blew them up deliberately to mislead us on how advanced they really are. Want to know how advanced? They just launched a Missile from 30 miles outside LA and their wasn't a dam thing we could do about it. Not funny now.

Oh, but it gets worse. Obama is leaving tomorrow for .... South Korea and the G20 summitt. Hmmm. Conspiracy here? Yep. The North Koreans will kidnap all the attendees at the G20 and hold them hostage while they invade from the North. It kinda goes like this: the South Korean Military along with their US allies stand down and let the North take over or 1) They will launch a second missile but this time it heads over land to downtown LA and will trigger a nuke which will kill approx 10 million people and just for good measure 2) since the Pres is right across the border they will launch a nuke there too. Hmmm. Turn over the south or lose the Pres and LA? Nice choice. Too bad Hyundai you were just turning it around.

Now that is a conspiracy theory people .... lighten up, please !

I believe this is a standard tenet of the "9/11 was an Inside Job" people, that those planes couldn't/wouldn't gotten past NORAD's detection and response unless they were planned by the military, and thus there was no need to respond to the self-generated threat.

It's kooky, but I think that's where he was going.

Yes, that is... but I really do apologize for bringing it up. I have formed my opinion and it's not a popular one and I shouldn't have brought it up on a website like CF.

I would use other words. I would go into the fact it was commercial flights and not an invading force.... etc. but why start.

Maybe I don't understand everything going on here. So does NORAD monitor every single commercial plane in the air in addition to all military traffic?

So if three of many thousands of commercial planes turned off their transponders NORAD should have immediately known about it, even though commercial air traffic control didn't know yet there was a problem?

I don't get what NORAD supposedly had to do with any of it.

I brought this upon myself, I shouldn't have even said it. I don't want to start up a debate, but 9/11 was an inside job. Don't believe me, just do a little research.

All I was saying about this missile deal, is that the government doesn't have to answer to anybody.

Lemme guess - the landing on the moon was also a Hollywood production? :skeptical:

They don't. But the kid probably read some blog by some no name guy and it blew his mind. He is now convinced that it is an inside job

They respond to hi-jacked planes and in 2000 they had a 100% success rate with drills. They went 0-4 in one day on 9/11.

Your opinion is wrong. You are illogical and uninformed and choose to see what you want to see in the evidence. I'm ashamed you are an American.

My first thought was if the Chi-Comms or Russians hacked our weapons system and launched it as a test.

May I ask if you have any military experience? How old you are...and do you have a college degree?

I saw a really well done and thought out in-depth documentary on it by Alex Jones, because I had initial doubts. I thought he provided enough evidence to make it within the realm of possibility.

Nobody even knew they were hijacked yet! They turned off their transponders and dropped off radar. Before commercial air controllers even knew there was a problem they were crashing into buildings!

That's kind of the idea. NORAD computers are perfectly attuned to all developments due to the inherent superiority of the massive military/industrial complex and the overarching control that its existence demands and requires in order to keep itself in power.

That idea never takes into account that everything NORAD has was built by the lowest bidder, and that quality is, always has been and always will be a major issue in military procurement. Their stuff is monolithically powerful. It will be full of hardware shortcomings and software problems, and that hasn't even gotten into training issues for personnel, which are almost surely present as well.

I don't buy this whole conspiracy, but I feel like I should have first posted, "Excuse me, stewardess, I speak conspiracy." I'm a tracker of ideas, and I've had people try to push this stuff on me before.

It's a nutty idea, but yeah, the conspiracy depends on NORAD having a perfect knowledge of every plane in the sky, its intended flight path, and its progress along that path.

I think you should submit this ****** to Fox and maybe they will bring back 24. This sounds like a job for Jack Bauer.
