Anyone else see the Creighton students getting into our players' faces as they were walking off the court at the end? It wasn't a great setup to begin with (both teams going past the others' students to the locker room) and I expected booing and yelling, but they were getting pretty close. Some of our players reacted like they may have been grabbed or hit. Did anyone else notice this? It looked like it could've gotten ugly.

I was too busy jumping up and down and yelling to watch the creighton students. I did notice after halftime, a kid from our student section was getting after McDermott pretty bad when he walked back onto the court.

Yeah I was watching that, luckily all Ejim did was flex as they were walking away. He and Christopherson were the only 2 players that looked like there was any contact between. Thankfully our players were mature and walked away instead of those idiot students.

I might get bent out of shape about it if I thought some of our students wouldn't do the same thing if they were in the same position. But I don't think that, so I'm not too concerned about it.

I mentioned this in another thread. They did the same thing to the refs as well. Kind of ironic, like the refs had screwed them all game. You can see the Nebraska football connection.

It should be open season on fans who go after athletes in any way. I was probably one of very few who was actually rooting for Artest to beat the **** out of the guy who threw something at him at the Pacers/Pistons brawl.

I remember ISU students literally throwing concessions trash --- soda cups and popcorn bags --- at Colorado players as they left the floor after a game at Hilton, five or six years ago. Some probably post here as they'd be in the 24-28 age range now.

I'm remember that game. 2005-06 season vs. Colorado and that d-bag Andy Osborne. Even though he was being a giant d-bag, it gave no right for our students to act that way. Made our fan base look reeeally bad, imo.

There were a few Cyclone fans yelling at Mac as he left the court also.

I fully expected there to be yelling. That was a poor setup, having the opposing student sections by the locker rooms. But the CU students had to be restrained by security and state troopers.
