Player 1 is Lucious i'm guessing? who is Player 2??

edit-guessing DG's career #'s for player 2

Pretty sure that player 1 is an all time ISU great, and player 2 is possibly a contemporary of his? not sure on 2.

Player one is a better passer and defender, but sucked at shooting. Tinsley?
two is probably Diante

I wouldn't necessarily assume he sucked at shooting - his % could be affected by taking a disproportionate amount of 3 pointers - and considering his 3-point % isn't that far off from his overall FG %, this could be the case.

That being said, personally, I would rather have a PG that was better at distributing, and playing defense than putting up tons of points. I've always viewed points from a PG to be "gravy".

Statistically the two are pretty even. Slight scoring edge to #2, but more shots taken, and steal and assist edges to #1. Shooting percentage is not a huge deal for these 2, and #1 gets to the line more.

I don't care who is better. However, I do like guessing who's who.

I think player 1 is Tinsley (from his 2 years at ISU), and player 2 is DG's junior and senior years. No way those are DG's career numbers.

2.6 steals a game? thats huge in a tight game.

I also think a valuable stat would be team W/L, because this would show a PG's leadership and effectiveness to make the players around him better. Much like a QB making is receiver's better. I would say Holloway was one of our best PG's, not because of his numbers, but because of his court awareness, making the players around him better and his leadership.

I think stats can be overrated. WATCHING a player play with my own two eyes is really the only thing, for me, that determines what I think. If the names were provided I'd probably be able to say right away what I thought.

I did not include W/L because that also relies on the talent around you and requires having a complete team. Is Koby Bryant a better player when he has less talent around him and has better stats or is he a better player when his stats are down and has a complete team around him? IMO- He is the same player but he wins because of who is around him. Was Jordan better before Pippen or with him?

The names would bias your opinion, which is why I'm guessing it's a blind poll.
