I am a big fan of my Creative Zen Vision M! They can be found fairly cheaply, and are better than an Ipod, IMO.

They came out with the Vision series about a month after i bought my Zen Micro. =(

I use a 4G nano, because I mostly use mine at the gym or out running. Hard drive based mp3 players do not like running very much.

Did anyone read the description for the back up alarm? That's hilarious.

Beep Prepared
It’s been suggested in some quarters that U.S. states should require annual re-testing for drivers above a certain age. The thinking is that perhaps these elders’ skills have diminished over the years, along with their visual and mental faculties. Every few months, some oldster drives his or her car into a playground somewhere, and the cry goes up again: yearly driving tests for senior citizens!

We say “Fiddlesticks to that.” So what if our elder citizens present a mortal danger on the public roads? We’re talking about the Greatest Generation here. They saved us all from the Nazis. It’s only fair that these American heroes be allowed to kill a few of us in return.

Besides, as foulmouthed young whippersnappers who don’t know the value of a plugged nickel, it’s really our job to get out of their way. The Audiovox BU-1 Vehicle Security Back Up Alarm can help. Connect it to the reverse lights on the car of a silver-haired citizen you love. The next time that person starts to reverse through the plate-glass front of a daycare center, a loud beeping will let the workers inside know to hurry the children to safety. The DMV doesn’t need to test older drivers – it just needs to make sure they’re all equipped with the Audiovox BU-1 Vehicle Security Back Up Alarm.

Yeah, like a Canon 40D. Or...I'd even take the 30D with the 17-85mm autofocus lens...

You got an extra $1500 laying around for a 40D? I would have expected you to be drinking better beer last weekend if you got that kinda change.

Now there is a portable XM radio for $39, that should go fast.

Nope...but I could be persuaded for under $1000. :)

Plus, no way I'd spend $1500 on the body, which is the retail price right now. Can easily get it for $1300 and some "deals" not too much over $1000.

This little XM radio might make a nice tailgaiting item...listen to commercial free radio while chowing down.
