I go to Iowa State. I live in Iowa. Unless ISU is playing another Iowan team, I've always gotta pull for our state schools.

I hate to say it but I will probably be rooting for the squawkeyes. I lived right next to that god awful state for 18 years in Council Bluffs. I can't stand their fans, the media, and that terrible mating call, "Go Big Red." My hatred runs much deeper for them.

I just spent last week in Nebraska, the reaction to this game does not even compare to what it is here in Des Moines. Every Husker fan I talked to said this will be as much of a rivalry as Nebraska vs ISU has been. Im not sure if that was a complement or not. The Des Moines media has done a great job of ballooning a rivalry when one of the teams could really give a **** less about the other team. Nebraska will own this series.

I actually considered that, but I am pretty interested in who Cyclone fans would choose to root for. If I put that 3rd option, Im pretty sure that would be the popular choice and skew the results

I agree with everything but the bold part. I think it will be a pretty even series.

Nebraska, and I feel dirty. Now if I lived in CB or Omaha, I'd probably be rooting for Iowa.
Since I deal with a lot more hawk fans than husker fans, I want to see the hawks get beat.

The more Iowa loses the better. This will benefit ISU in the long run as we no longer have to deal with the Fuskers. At least we can say our last visit to Lincoln was a triumph.

I won't be cheering but if you're an Iowa State fan you want NU to dominate UI. Iowa will never be able to claim a B10 title again if NU dominates that division. We want more Iowans watching us and we want more Iowa kids playing for us. A neutered UI is good for ISU.
