Art of War is definitely good. "Standing Tall" by C. Vivian Stringer is really good too if you're into a****iographies. I wasn't aware of just how much she's been through in her life, really inspiring stuff!

I'm currently working on "56", the book about DiMaggio's hitting streak that was featured in Sports Illustrated awhile back. Pretty good so far.

The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas.. a little lengthy and starts slow, but well worth it. It inspired the name for the montecristo cigars.. listen to the audiobook while smoking a montecristo.

Not into coaches trying to write books. If you want a good Sci-Fi(Horror) story. I Am Legend by Richard Matheson. Yes, the Will Smith movie was named after the book, but that's all they had in common.

I always liked Matheson. Seems like every few years they make a movie from something he wrote. Since the 60s.. that guys gotta be cleaning up on royalties.

Right now, I'm enjoying "The Last Jump: A Novel Of World War II" on my Kindle. I can't seem to put it down, but I'm a WWII buff so ... However, they haven't even gotten to the fighting yet and I still can't seem to put it down.

Try some of the free books on Kindle. I've got "Great Expectations" waiting in the wings, and, without looking, I believe all the Agatha Christie books are free, if you're a fan of English murder mysteries.

If you're a fan of sci-fi, I might recommend some Greg Bear books. I'm not really a sci-fi fan, but the way he wrote most of his, you could almost believe it was possible. Fantastical, but not too fantastical. I especially enjoyed "Darwin's Radio" and "Eon" was pretty good too. "Moving Mars" was a little too far-fetched for me, but a good read, nonetheless. He's written dozens of books, starting in the 70s and just released his last one this year. Some say he's the best sci-fi writer, so maybe you know about him already if you're a fan.

I'm currently really into the Dreamhouse Kings series by Richard Liparulo. However, it's a young adult series, but really good. I read through two books last weekend.

Anything really. I lean more towards sci-fi, classical literature, and current events/ current science books, but since getting my kindle a couple months ago, I've been burning through 2-4 books/ week. I just need suggestions for good books to read.

Am reading "The Dark Tower" series by Stephen King right now, a blend of sci. fi. & fantasy. Going to be made in to a movie soon starring Javier Bardem (No Country for Old Men). Have to admit I'm very surprised by King's writing as I thought he was totally a horror genre kind of guy.

One of the most amazing books I've ever read:

hillenbrand-unbroken_211-thumb-211x320-56964.jpg

It's about a troubled kid that ends up becoming a WWII bombardier, and has unbelievable things happen to him...surviving it all.

Son of Hamas by Mosab Hassan Yousef

It is a non-fiction book written by the son of one of the 7 founding members of Hamas. It will make a great action pact movie one day, it is unbelievable that the story is true. It will give those of you unfamiliar with middle eastern culture a glimpse into how things are and why things are the way they are.

By far the best book of this type I have read.

You've read the Foundation books, right? If not, do so (cause it's basically Gibbon's Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire set in space).
