Learfield and Big 12 Network

Here is an article from Sports Business Daily about Learfield's interest in a Big 12 Network. I can't access whole article so I don't know if it is new or rehash of old info.

Seems like it doesn't really say anything though. Just talks about Learfield having the rights to Big 12 and Big 10 and IMG owning most other schools' rights.

Again, made it sound like a possible network would be a Big 8 network (with Texas and Oklahoma doing their own thing)

I'm sure the network wouldn't really generate any significant money for ISU, but the more exposure the better!

I'm more interested in exposure than money with this thing. The ABC/ESPN and Fox TV deals will feed our coffers, I want a channel that gets ISU more coverage. I'm also hopeful all local options (Dish, Direct TV and Mediacom) pick it up

Quick Question.

How many games per year were we on TV in say the 90's.
Was it all the big 8/12 games plus Iowa? everygame? about half the games?

Just a fact I want to know
