I eyed Irving a couple days ago and he is closer to 210. Look for him to play WR as he looks way to skinny. They were only off 30 or 40 pounds though. :jimlad:

Haha you eyed him? That's classic. You guess weight at Adventureland?

I talked to him during the Utah game and he looked roughly 6'7 225 than

There's some interesting number choices. Lemke at number 4 if he stays on offense is the same number as Lampkin, if he goes to D he has Richardson's number. Ecby with number 6, must think he's redshirting (?) behind Darks. Bundrage with 11 the same as the most likely starter at QB with two years left.

Yes13 might have something there. Dagel will most likely RS given the depth that we have on the OL. But, I bet if those incoming Freshmen can make an impact they will be given different #.

There are always a bunch of number changes near the end of Fall camp, when the initial depth charts are settled on (including Special Teams) and the Redshirt decisions are made. I would consider all of these written in pencil for the time being.

Just a few days ago, video of CPR's remarks at the coaches' cook-off thing was available at cyclones.com, I believe.

CPR said (iirc) the entire signing class is here this summer but three kids must take summer school to become eligible. He said he'd let everyone know the outcome at the start of fall camp.

CPR seemed pretty tickled that this might be the first class, he said, of which every kid who signed could make it into school.

CJ Morgan is listed as a LB. Not sure if he was listed as a LB this spring but I know he was the #2 Nickel. I am guessing he will take more snaps at LB with the loss of Adrian Bennett and will probably fight with Mattison for PT.

One thing I like to see is that we only have 3 true sophmores. All the rest of last years freshman had a chance to redshirt and will be that much better for it. I think that is a good sign of recruiting progress. Freshmen only need to play when they are too good to keep off the field. Those RS Freshmen can now provide depth and allow this years freshmen to redshirt as needed.

The staff did testing last week when the recruits came in, so I'm not doubting the weight. Gotta remember, someone who's 6'7 will carry that weight a lot better than someone 6'2. I have no doubt he still looks skinny.

This is just a summer list and includes all signees and preferred walk-ons. We'll know who made it when the fall roster comes out.

Everyone but Brun, Ecby and Simon are in the student directory (meaning they are taking summer classes at ISU), so I'd say they are good to go...unless the clearinghouse comes calling between now and September.

Maybe they will bring a huge check that will cover the cost of bowling in the stadium!!!

"Could"? In other words, no one is definitely ruled out yet.

I'm really hoping on Ecby, then Simon, then Brun. Maybe Simon will do I Tuba Rubin impression, get cleared after school starts, then go on to the NFL.

What? No, no, no...Jansen Watson has the same number as the most likely stater at quarterback with two years left--but it doesn't matter, since Watson plays defense.

By a huge 2 pounds. Blythe's senior year year he was up to 214. Oh and at least Blythe never rocked a blonde dyed rat tail.... Hopefully Donnie shaves that off.
Two pounds is two pounds. Hoping Jennert steps up this year. We are going to need him to.
