And Mike Brown, isn't known to play a style that DG would fit into. I'd like to see him go to a team that likes to push the ball. LA will be a half court team, we've seen that DG struggle with that.
If DG can play McDad ball, he can adjust.

A certain special service from a certain four letter word company has him going at #51 to Portland. It's the first of their Mock's that they've had him getting drafted.

I'm curious to see who the T-Wolves pick or if that make some sort of trade. Kanter would seem to fit their actual needs better than Williams or Irving, but he is also a bigger risk. I wonder if some sort of deal can be worked out with Phoenix if they are really intent on trying to keep Williams in the state.

So you're saying it's official? DG will be in Portland?

Nothing is ever official until it happens. Since they had never listed him in their Mocks, I was just hoping that he'd get drafted. After seeing this, and seeing him at #51, I'm fairly confident he'll be drafted.

He may be a 1st year coach but he has coached 7 seasons before and showed that he plays young guys.

Who did the Lakers have last year that was a good outside shooter? They shot 28% from 3 point range. I think they desperately need a PG who is quick and long. Fisher couldn't stay in front of me at this point. He also couldn't set up the bigs down low as he couldn't penetrate.

And there is nothing wrong with showing up at a franchise that has high expectations. It's actually a good thing. You learn very early what it takes to be a winner.

Fisher is terrible but he's going to be a Laker as long as Kobe is there. I'm not saying DG can't possibly play on the Lakers, but I don't think there is any way it's even close to the best fit for him as some are saying.

There are plenty of teams in the NBA that run drive and kick offenses, the Lakers, whether they stick with the triangle or not, are not one of those teams. They are built to run high-low sets through Odom and Gasol. I just think there are much better situations for him than LA.

I'm hearing that along with the Lakers, the Cavs, Pistons and Trail Blazers seem most interested in DG.

- The Lakers have four picks tonight. Ones where DG could go are 46, 56 and 58.
- The Trail Blazers could draft him at 51 (like ESPN is projecting).
- The Pistons could snag him at 52.
- If he falls to 54, Cleveland could jump on him.

I wouldn't mind if he went to the Suns, to learn from Steve Nash while he's there for the final year of his contract.

Or my Bucks, to back up Brandon Jennings.

Not sure if you've seen this but the bucks just made a big trade and it apparently doesnt bode well for Jennings or for Diante going to them. They moved down to 19 in the first and picked up 2 PGs

He'd be cleveland's 3rd PG. Not good.

Probably 4th if the Cavs take Irving. I think it is 80% likely the Cavs take Irving which would make the chances of taking Diante slim to none. Even if the Cavs take Williams they will take another PG at 4.
