The Qatar guy will get stuffed. Throwaway pick. One guy played three games. One guy averaged three points. One guy was a soccer goalie. Great scouting people. Looks like salaries will be cut with 22 teams losing money. These Europeans might have to sign for minimum wage.

Maybe we're onto that age old puzzle of why certain teams always seem to lose..

That's 5 hours of my life I'll never get back.

A bunch of no-name guys from no-land counties who have played 3 games getting drafted over Garrett is ********. Garrett the sleeper of the draft my ***. Now I'm being reminded of why I stopped watching the NBA 13 years ago.

ESPN creaming over Ben Hansbrough was pathetic.

Can someone explain to me why these teams pick the throw away guys. I know very few 2nd rounders make teams. But why wouldn't you pick a good player anyway? What does it hurt? You don't have to pay them. It's not like picking the guy that averaged .7 points is going to cost less than picking an actual basketball player. If neither makes a team, it doesn't matter, right? Or am I wrong.

It was slightly over the top but perhaps the best player in the Big East not getting drafted is ridiculous when you consider some of the guys that were.

Does anyone HONESTLY think that DG is an NBA caliber player? I mean honestly... Brackins will not see meaningfull minutes in the NBA. Fizer was a complete bust. Blalock couldn't make it. Stinson will never get a look. Those guys were really really good college players. DG was not even a really good college player. But DG is better then all of those guys all of a sudden? I think there are some inflated opinions out there tonight.

Fizer was a 6'6 PF who was ok until he blew out his knees. Stinson was a 6'1 SG. It's wayy to early to tell on Brackins.

Diante is a 6'5 PG with looong arms. It's all about skill set in the NBA. He has something that is rare. That alone gives him more of a chance than Stinson

Heck, Lucca would have been a better choice than Mr. 0.7 Pt Needs a lot of Work and an Interpreter.

DG will make it. He can pass. He can dribble. He can run. He mixes up his dribble. He has a floater. He can make layups now. He can hit college threes. He is humble. He can run forever without breaking into a sweat. He is dependable. He almost can play good defense. He needs to improve his dunking. I would put him up against any Mr. 0.7 Pt a Game player from Nugumbo.

I am also wondering why that scrub from the NBDL got drafted and Stinson didn't. Yeah Stinson is old, but he actually has a reasonable chance of actually playing.

Why would anyone waste a draft pick on him when they could have signed him for nothing at any point in the last 6 years?
