Aggie=attention *****

Leave so we can move on

I'm not sure its entirely them. The SEC may want to have its #14 locked in first, and A&M may want to minimize losses from leaving the conference. Baylor's making a big fuss about things down in texas.

Probably had to re-tie his bowtie and had to find a mirror....

The Aggies think he's a badass especially with the bowtie thing:

I wouldn't panic about the longevity of this thread, as it will be picked up again (and again) as developments in this story show themselves.

I predict this will be the longest thread in CF history...if A&M does in-fact leave the conference for greener (read: $) pastures.

How much longer is this going to take?
Best guess - until there are at least two teams ready to jump - A&M looks bad instigating, they will try to make it look like the demise of the Big 12 and move to supers was inevitable, and they need a partner in crime to make it happen, best thing the big12 can do is to recruit a new member, put in massive penalties and give a&m a hard deadline, but they won't because those that can are still flirting and they aren't ready to settle down yet, Missouri may have learned their lesson on not kissing and telling, but anyone who can is listening to their options now or in the future

You might have something there. The SEC does need a 14th team so maybe that's why they keep trying to drop Mizzou's name in with them.

Can we just get this over with already? Seriously, and I don't mean this thread. But if they or aren't they? There are a few academic institutions who's future standing may be at stake here over ******* football. Can we take care of this **** and get on with the future. Good-by aTm have fun still being in Texas' shadow, even in another conference. And oh yeah, have fun sharing your money with Vanderbilt. At least in this conference, Texas didn't want your money, they have enough of their own and just wanted to keep it. If the deal is going down, can we just get it over with?

Big 12 source: on ND “It would definitely be a conversation worth pursuing and having.” Irish would have to join as full members.

Key fact in Big 12's strategy: Notre Dame makes $15M reportedly from NBC. Irish could keep current deal and make additional $20M in Big 12.

Regarding BYU, Cougars would be able to keep school network (BYUtv), play in automatic bid league and not worry about indy scheduling.
