Do not believe **** until Jamie says what the hell is going on with the conference and where ISU in the present time. Speculation is fun and all, but not factual. I read the reports and call ********. IF the **** is going to hit the fan I fully believe Jamie will have us in good position.

Question....how many teams have to stick together to collect the exit fees and to keep the BCS bid? I seem to remember it was 5 but can't remember now.

If the conference goes it goes. Iowa State will be fine. Not confirming just a thought.

I'm of the opinion that ISU is screwed. I just have a bad feeling.

OMG?! Really?!?

I think KU with their basketball program and tradition was attractive to the Big East.

Believe what you want

KU was attractive, but did KU just say "We're not coming without ISU.". Pollard and GG had to be involved in the talks if ISU was involved. They didn't outsource it to KU because KU looks out for KU.

Worst case scenario we fall to the Big East. And that is worst case IMO. We really do add quite a bit. Solid attendance in football and basketball plus all the other sports. ISU isn't as pathetic as you might think.

OMG so you think that KU officials were the ones who secured the Big East invite and Pollard wasn't involved? Or are you saying only GG was involved without JP?

You are getting warmer. Ask yourself this. Why was it Bill Self who made that info public? GG and JP were working on it for ISU, but it was much more reactive than proactive.

Location had more to do with ISU's inclusion than anything.

Isnt that espn's job to spin **** and have u tune into their program? It is all about TV sets, but that may change you cannot punish a university for not being in a highly populated state and making them drop out of AQ status to a lesser conference. How can that happen?

I think we'll be OK, too. Sure, having a conference named the Big East reaching into Iowa and Kansas is a little strange, but we'll end up OK even in the worst case there.

So, are you a hawk? JP has never shown his hand in anything. Look at his coaching searches.
