I just don't see why all the schools in the south are so willing to bolt to other conferences that will lower the chances of winning both conference and national championships and have no monetary gain either.

Bingo. It's just turned into a big ******* contest. Rational thought seems to have taken a back seat.

It's almost like It's become a contest to see who can do the most damage. The team that leaves and finally blows up the Big XII wins. Frustration speaking here, but it pisses me off to no end that all the schools that voted to make the conference this way are now the ones running away from it, to conferences that use the model they voted against all these years. There truly are no ill consequences for these schools, they will always have a conference to land in no matter how much ******** they splatter all over the walls of college football. I for one am glad Baylor is attempting to do something or at least standing up for themselves.

This truly is idiotic the way this is playing out.

There may be (and hopefully will be) consequences for these schools, but they may take a few years to play out...

If what Im hearing is accurate you all should be upset with Baylor for costing a 3-5 million dollar payout from A&M out the door

A one time $3 million payout rather pales in comparison to possibly ending up in a non-AQ conference...

Our ire is directed exactly where it should be: OU, UT, and TAMU (in no particular order)...

College football is becoming a joke and it's being lead into this oblivion by the fans and regents of programs like aTm, Nebraska and Oklahoma.
