I will bet my houses that in 24, 36, 48 and/or 60.....72.....84+ months from today, the big xii will still exist and ISU will be in it.

I trust your information more than just about any other info out there presently, but 84+ months for your houses seems like a pretty good line to bet on.

Is "change good" today or is the Big XII still around 84 months from now?
Change does not mean no big xii -- i've made that point over and over tough guy. Have you noticed that nothing ---- nothing --- has happened.

I dont care what Chip Brown says KU is not going to the ACC with Texas. Everyone will stick around and make hay off the exist fees of OU, OSU and Texas and make a more unified conference. My question is where is TTU in all this?

OU and OSU are gone in my opinion, Texas has a foot out the door. My question is where is TTU in all this?

Source: Urgent meeting Wed PM in KC for #FaithfulFive reps. New #BIG12 on the drawing board. "High profile BCS schools expressing interest"

No clue who this guy is but he swears that he's not blowing smoke. probably as reliable as anyone else at this point.

Well, you can bet the only BCS schools expressing interest are Big East teams...high profile BCS schools in the Big East are

UCONN
Rutgers
Pitt
W. Virginia
Syracuse

I don't know if you could call S. Florida, Cincy, or Louisville high profile. If you could get the 7 schools left in the Big 12 to commit and add even some of those 5 or BYU, then I think it's possible. But then again so is everything else, and this dude is probably just trying to get twitter followers. Either way, you can know by tomorrow PM according to him.

I suspect in 84 months the value will be down at least 30% -- its a new world

Agreed! #FaithfulFive will raking in all the exit fees, plus a lucrative TV deal to dangle in front of potential schools lining up to join the revamped Big XII!

Could you imagine how many more wins we would get if this conference stuff went down like this? Suddenly I believe we would be pretty close to reaching the level that WVU has over the last 5-8 years.

Agreed. I think a Big 12 remnants and Big East merger is more likely than Texas to ACC. Then Texas stays king of the conference and keeps their network.

Media sources: #Fox Sports Media wants rebuilt #Big12 presence in Dallas, Houston, KC, STL as well as extended footprint in Lou, Cinc, & Ut.

Former #KU AD Lew Perkins rumored to be providing advisory services for #BIG12 #FaithfulFive & working well placed contacts at "fever pitch"

If you put a new conference together, you better get legal assurances that everybody is staying or else the other conferences will pick schools off one by one in future expansions.

Tech is glued to Texas.

This whole thing has become beyond absurd. The Big 12 was such a good conference....unreal this has happened.

But whatever is going to happen...I wish it would just be over with so I know where we land...if anywhere.

I prefer keeping Big 12 together with whomever is left and whomever we can get to join.
