OU board of regents just gave Boren power to do what's necessary regarding conference affiliation. This ****** seems familiar...

Edit: Why is s-c-r-i-p-t censored? I like to think of myself as a connoisseur of swear words, is this a curse that's just flown under my radar all these years?

It's often censored on message boards to prevent the use of code (for spam or hacking).

However, I'm going to start dropping words like scripthole and motherscripter.

Not exactly sure.
CU's president didn't want UT. Not TT (which I doubt he wants them either as the '4' will no doubt make CU's west coast visits a lot fewer) or OSU or even OU.

He has seen the carnage that UT can bring to a conference. ALTHOUGH, I'm not so down on UT at this point as NU, A&M and OU have all been there marching lock step with UT on all the things that weaken our conference...and then have thrown us all under the bus and blame UT on the way out the door.

Sure, UT is a pain in the ***...but they put food on the table. OU, NU, and A&M are a pain in the *** that steal the food and run off.

BTW...OU leading this search committee and then doing all of this may cause Baylor to sue as well (just my hunch). OU should have stepped aside or completed their fiduciary responsibility to the B12 and called all of the targeted teams. Pitt obviously wanted to leave the BE. OU's reckless need to be blown screwed up one of our best shots at expansion and very well could cost the B12 it's existence.

BTW2...toss 'Boomber' off this board please. My hate for OU was always plenty high...this recent back stabbing by those toothless jack ***** has pushed my disdain for them beyond the brink. The last thing I want to read on here is propaganda from that dip ****. If I want to know what a moron with a 45 IQ thinks I'll call up one of my tavern hawk fan neighbors. We don't need to be importing ignorance here.

He would actually be an Imbecile, not a moron. That is giving him to much credit.

Statement from UCLA AD:

I know that the national discussion on conference expansion is dominating the conversation for many of you right now. Rumors are rampant and, as is often the case, not necessarily always on point. Ultimately, any decision to expand the Pac-12 will rest with the various school presidents and chancellors, working hand in hand with their respective athletic administrators and our commissioner.

Expansion just for the sake of expansion is rarely a good thing. Dr. Martin Luther King once said, "We may all have come in different ships, but we are all in the same boat now." Those of us in the same boat, the existing Pac-12 members, need to think long and hard as to the relevancy and value of bringing new members into the boat. Issues of academic compatibility, student-athlete welfare, competitive and financial implications all need to be thought out carefully by the various stakeholders. If further expansion is the right thing to do, then it makes sense to proceed.

Go Bruins!

Exactly. What a ****. The same jerkoff that condemned Texas for it's power hungry ways and then condemned A&M for leaving is now doing the same damn thing. Hypocrisy.... Mr. Boren.... LOOK IT UP!!!!!

OU prez. RT @TravHaney: Boren: 2 options - Pac-12 or save Big 12. Not happy with Baylor, others, for threatening suit. Not happy with LHN.
