Not sure that the SEC is that soft of a landing spot
pretty sure if the choice is the Big 12-East merger and the SEC, the SEC is the better spot...Missouri has been competitive in the big 12, not gonna be world beaters but no reason to think they can't compete with the likes of the MS schools, Vandy, KY, SC, AR, etc. I think AL, Auburn, Florida when I think SEC, just like you used to think Texas, OU, Nebbie for the big 12...

Remember when reading anything from Travis Haney or Berry Tramel that they are as bias as Boomer is when it comes to OU. They have been of the opinion that OU to Pac 12 is a foregone conclusion for weeks. They are not going to change their tune for any reason. So don't take anything that they read as proof of anything that is happening. They may ultimately get it right, but that doesn't mean they know what is going on. They are just rationalizing their bias.

AL, Auburn, Florida, LSU and Tennessee have all won BCS Titles. GA, SC, AR and Miss St are also top 25 programs.

Only Texas and OU have in the Big 12. You don't have the depth in the Big 12.

PAC-12 AFFIRMS DECISION NOT TO EXPAND
WALNUT CREEK, Calif.-- In light of the widespread speculation about potential scenarios for Conference re-alignment, the Pac-12 Presidents and Chancellors have affirmed their decision to remain a 12-team conference. Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott said, “after careful review we have determined that it is in the best interests of our member institutions, student-athletes and fans to remain a 12-team conference. While we have great respect for all of the institutions that have contacted us, and certain expansion proposals were financially attractive, we have a strong conference structure and culture of equality that we are committed to preserve. With new landmark TV agreements and plans to launch our innovative television networks, we are going to focus solely on these great assets, our strong heritage and the bright future in front of us.””

And this the reason why OU is back at the table to save the Big 12.

Hopefully Texas will see the writing on the wall and drop LHN.
