They get it, you have to score 35 points to have a chance in this league. With the offenses in this league, you can't expect your defense to hold teams to a couple touchdowns. Just isn't going to happen. have to find a way to score points and until we do it is going to be like this. This is not the Big 10 where scoring 21 is ok.

Disappointed that none of the young guys on the OL have stepped up. We really have a long, long way to go in terms of depth, across the board.
Weak assistants or not, CPR has shown an inability to inspire the team. They are not "All In." The team is worse now than when he took over. Once that is established it is very hard for a coach to recover from. The message becomes phony.
Paul IS going to be in trouble if he doesn't put a better product on the field in year 4 no matter how much we all like him.
Jantz doesn't look that bad IMO. Maybe I'm just crazy. His fumble was terrible, but he's hit all the open receivers and had a beautiful pass to Money. The defense hasn't stopped anybody, and the receivers can't make any yards if all we run are screens.

there might not be another win this season...at this rate KU, who is ranked 120 in multiple defensive categories, will probably dictate the tempo to us...
For years now, Big 12 games have been very high scoring with typical scores in the range of 42-35. Our defense has been disappointing, but the offense has GOT to be able to score AT MINIMUM 28 points a game. Today the offense has 3.
just frustrating how we're playing...we have the talent but we run the stupidest plays at the stupidest time..haven't seen improvement this season besides Reynolds...time for the offense to wake up or the season will get even longer
not sure what you're watching, but the last offensive possession, the third down attempt to Lenz wasn't touched by anyone and it was five yds short, wobbling. He had a rush in his face, but a D1 QB has to get the ball out of there....it was pitiful.

Yes, the defense is completely inept, but Tom Herman HAS to go. Seriously.
Any person with a tiny bit of football knowledge can see that Missouri, and every other team we play, overpursues on defense really bad. Why? Because we NEVER do anything to keep them honest. We never run any misdirection or reverse type plays. Why shouldn't defenses just pin their ears back and come after us?
And why we haven't went to Money yet is beyond me. He's CLEARLY our best offensive threat, and we don't even look his way. Heck, throw it up to him, he usually comes down with it. Better than throwing the ball 20 yds across the field on a 2 yd out route.
And I think it's time for Barnett to at least get a shot in this game. If we don't score on our opening possession of the 2nd half and Missouri goes down and scores again, then let Barnett play the rest of the game PLEASE!! It's not as if you're burning a RS or anything by playing him. And Jantz is doing nothing, so why not? If we're that loyal to Jantz, then something's wrong. He needs to know that he can't play like this and not risk losing his starting job IMO. The best thing to bring out good play is competition. Jantz needs to know he can't screw up left and right and not get benched.

That would be an admission of FAILURE....and Jamie will never admit that he made a mistake...esp in hiring personnel...
