Yeah and when you've had the struggles we've had on offense the past three years it comes down to the person that is in charge of the O and is the executive of them. That's Herman. I dont mind this year as much but the lack of production for three years is inexcusable. Herman NEEDS to go.

I bet Herman is still here next season.

You guys are ******* negative. The team came out and played tonight. Yes we have our issues but this was the mason jars. They are better and we know that. The team played until the end. After the last tree games I am at least leaving this game feeling that we played our hearts out.

disappointed in the play of Jantz ONCE AGAIN.
Glad the coach saw fit to place Barnett in the game to at least shake things up. Unfortunately the simple plays they called early for Barnett were quickly deciphered by the TAM def. Then it was back to the learning curve, WHERE IT IS MY OPINION that the occasional insertion of Jantz may have helped to keep things off balance.

I'm not down on this team for losing or their effort. Was very pleased with the effort the boys showed today. The thing that pisses me off is the stupid football we play. I also cannot stand to see us out there jawing when were down 30-7. It gets old seeing this team shoot themselves in the foot. Thats what gets me.

What do you expect? We have ZERO playmakers on offense. Herman called some great plays today; plays that blindsided A&M and would have resulted in big gains if we had decent players to execute them. We played a rookie QB all game who went through a 1/13 spell in the middle of the game. Our receivers dropped a lot of balls that should have been caught. Reynolds played absolutely terribly, missing routes and not getting a catch until the 6:00 mark in the 4th quarter.

This team's problem is a complete dearth of talent on offensive side of the ball. That's not Herman's fault at all.

How the F do you have ANY reputation?

Ells bells I state a simple fact that Pollard (when he started) didn't deserve to be Cyclone AD and I get raped (even accused by the moderator of being the notorious and BANNED "MonteBurns"). Yet you have a 'reputation' that is "beyond repute". WTF! I suspect a little bit of Hawkeye meddling.

The two QB draw plays today were great calls that picked up some good yards. When have we seen a QB draw that didn't include an option read to it?

While we didn't get the win, I think they turned things around from the horrible recent performances. Still have to keep improving, of course. I think the defense played well enough to give us a chance to win. The offense has to accept the challenge and equal the effort. If they can do that, I think they have a chance in the next two.

We were the better team in the 1st and 3rd quarters, and arguably the 4th. Take away the ugly 2nd quarter, and we could be looking at a win.

But that's been the problem with this team all year; consistency. They show flashes of being a capable team at times, and then they turn right around and **** the bed. We don't have the talent to be able to afford mistakes, so 2-3 good quarters won't cut it; the first thing we need to have a chance at winning is to string 4 solid quarters together, and we haven't done it yet.

Oh, I agree. I just saw a lot more out there today than I've seen in recent weeks. And fewer, smaller mistakes. Obviously still there, and they still have to continue to clean it up, but I thought a poor effort in this game would have really stamped out any hope for the season, and they came out and proved that they're still trying to turn it around.

Amen, I totally agree. They improved in almost every way over their recent efforts; that should be met only with praise. Thanks for keeping it positive.

Not even sure what this post means? How the hell do you have any rep. You sit there and say that you're disappointed by Jantz's play today when he played a whopping 2 series. There's obviously something up with Jantz. His injury from the UCONN has obviously been nagging him the past couple of weeks + the offensive line has been sub par yet you're disappointed with him again. You're a dumb idiot. This offense's struggles have been embarrasing to watch. It starts at the top and Herman isn't getting it done. Sometimes a change of scenery helps all parties involved yet you sit here and add nothing to the conversation and say nothing in favor of him just asking "how I have any rep." How the **** do you have rep you moron.

Can you point to specific actions Herman has or hasn't done that lead you to call for his ouster? I've read your posts, and the crux of your argument boils down to "sometimes change is good". That's not very compelling.

If you look at it stats wise he hasn't gotten the job done. We have been near the bottom of every offensive category in the three years he has been here. The amount of three and outs we've had are mind bottling. We're 83rd in the nation in the points for category with 24.2 pts scored per game and that includes the OT win vs Iowa. When you play in the Big 12 you HAVE to score points to win and we have not done that. Have you been happy with his performance?
