A lot of hawk fans seem to want the rematch (according to HN)

It because for the first time in awhile, ISU can legitimately say they had a better football season than Iowa. Iowa fans would love the opportunity to leave a sour taste in the mouth of ISU fan for the next 8-9 months with the opportunity to say we beat you when it really mattered. This is the exact reason I dont want the rematch. While it would be great to beat Iowa twice in a season, its most definitely not worth the risk of not beating them.

The way the two teams are playing at this point in the season, I think ISU would be able to lock them down fairly easily on D and no is scared of that Iowa defense.

I've actually heard it's rather salty depending on your diet.

I would love it... it would be fun to party with friends from both sides of the rivalry in Phoenix...
Agree. I have no idea why people are being overly sensitive about this. It would be a great game between two rivals. What more do you want in a bowl game?
I'm not seeing any valid reason why we wouldn't want to play them. It would be a great thing for the state.
The big question is, would we break out Steele Jantz for the rematch?

So don't lose, problem solved.

Insight is looking after their own interests. They'd probably have record attendance.

As much fun as it would be to gloat over skinning the Hawks twice in one year, I'd rather let someone else have a turn.

I won't be completely stunned if the Big 12 jockeys for its Big 12 teams (as opposed to the two outgoing SEC teams) to get preferential treatment by the bowls, but moving up to the Insight would be a big jump.

Only happens if Big 12 has 2 BCS teams, plus ISU jumping Mizzou, A&M and getting credit for beating K-State (if that happens.)

At 6-6, I'll be gobsmacked.
