Positive 2: the 2012 QB controversy is officially over, at least the JB vs. Jantz one
Great question. The way they are blitzing, we need to run straight ahead and we could bust a big one, or throw over the middle where the blitzers came from.
If we don't see much improved QB play, expect more 6/7 win seasons in the coming couple of years. I don't see how you win more than that with our schedule and QB play.
How bouts we use that 50 pound per man advantage and just run right at them. Oh that's right our oc has mailed it in. Kiss my *** Herman. Parachute out of the plane when they fly over Columbus. His heads obviously there already.

Poor line play, poor QB play, poor play calling, offense completely unprepared, zero adjustments. We just have no game plan offensively and we really haven't all year.
Defense playing ok, not great but again on the field way too long and you can tell they know the offense has no chance to score.
Apparently Rutgers has the best defense in the nation and they get to play with 13 guys. They stack the box we can't complete a pass, they blitz we run right into it. Offense is as bad as it has been in a long time today.

Defense has just played too much this game because the offense is horrendously bad. The offense is horrendously bad because RU is able to send in all 11 with the knowledge that ISU's QBs can't hit anywhere near where they are trying to throw. This is completely on our lack of a decent QB.
Really? They both have sucked, but JB was the suckier one. At least Steele doesn't bounce the ball 5 yards in front of the receiver. With that said, JB will be the starter next fall.

yeah cuz Barnett looked so much better... I believe that both supporters are wrong because this year both of them have been awful and neither of them can throw a dam football. But what can you do?
This. I don't know how anyone watching this game can make a case for Jantz being a starter next year. Not saying JB is going to win the heisman or anything but at least he doesnt make dumb passes a 12 year old would know not to attempt. Who knows what Richardson will do, but he'll have a year of learning the system under his belt so we'll see I guess. IMO it will be a two man race between JB and SR
This game exemplifies the Herman offense at ISU. Poor QB play in a schematically **** poor offense with a bad play caller.
