I want a good DE as much as the next guy, but didn't Hayes have no sacks and very few tackles this year at juco. I know stats aren't everything. I remember how excited I was about Rony Nelsons 16 or 20 sacks, but to not have any is a little concerning. Is my info bad. I know the staff wanted him so save me that speech.
Even if he does make it, he isn't playing next year unless he bulks up. Yeah hes tall, but for that height hes not big enough.

Considering they haven't visited yet, he'd probably have to get very busy...
Does not mean he still wouldn't play. He has said that about many players that were starting at the time.

I know the North Shrine Bowl coach, and had a meeting with the ISU coaching staff, they said that it is down to Arkansas and ISU for White, he does have an offer from Arkansas.
Nope, before the 2011 season. Besides maybe Knott, when was the last time Wally did not offer up something that a player "needs" to do?
Here's the scoop on Lawry. Barnett's uncle is his high school head coach. JB's dad was his OC/QB coach. He has ties to JB and ISU has always been on his radar. So, IMO, there was no need for multiple visits. I would doubt that JB's family would send a kid to ISU they felt would have a negative impact on him or had academic issues. I hope we can still have a chance to get him especially after the bowl game debacle.
