Booker had some foul trouble, but I thought he really gave us some quality minutes, today. He played pretty solid. Grabbed a lot of boards.

I love seeing Gibson get playing time. I'm super excited about him, going forward. Yes, his defense needs to improve, but there aren't many freshman bigs in the country that you can't say that about. You can see he has great finesse and touch around the rim. I can imagine, two years from now, him and Niang as a formidable front line.

Great game, today. So much fun to watch when they're clicking.

You can tell that Gibson has some talent in the low post. In fact I think he is better in the low post both defensively and offensively than RW.

The only reason why it was 23 instead of 30+ is because Hoiberg emptied the bench. Pretty much the same reason why A$M crossed the 40 point threshold - didn't think they were going to get there for awhile either.

Yeah, "it's just A$M", but the boys flat out took care of business today, and did so convincingly. Nobody can take that away from them, regardless how bad the competition was.

Also loved the "$EC!!! $EC!!! $EC!!!" chant at the end. Brilliant.

Let's take care of business on Monday and take 3rd place all by ourselves.

I see it now. Before he wasn't making good decisions with the ball which didn't make him a good PG. Now that he is making shots...

He doesn't have the mentality of a PG. He can't be bargained with. He can't be reasoned with. He doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And he absolutely will not stop, ever...

How is it advertisement? Anybody with any sense knows it was mocking them. And the SEC would be an AWFUL conference to go play basketball in. Would love to watch games against Ole Miss, Auburn and South Carolina, etc... :SLEEP:

You have to be part of a rare minority that considers chanting "SEC!!!" when the school that is heading to the SEC is getting pasted by 30+ points is considered "free advertising" for the SEC. :biglaugh:

It's called mocking a fan base that has been dooshey enough to mock every single opponent in that way, it's fair game to put it back in their face when they take a beating.

It's just like those people who complain about the "Over-RATED!!!" chant - yeah, we get the fact it "makes" your win look "less" if you beat a team that is overrated, but when you're mocking an opponent who really gives a crap?
