As a UK fan first but a ISU alum. Idt its because we like out "matchup" against ISU better. it's more we hate Uconn. kinda like if you were playing UL. A loss for them is almost as good as a win for us.

Any Kensucky fan who tells you they are cheering for you because they "hate" us is lying. We waxed them twice last year, and while they are clearly the better team than us, they are afraid of us, because they know we have the horses to run with them.

A 2nd round loss for Kentucky after being 1 all year would be a disaster for the program.

I am the one who introduced the "quiet please" sign at ISU games introduced towards the middle of the 2007-2008 season. The guy who holds it up now is a part of cyclone alley committee.

I just wanted to let you guys know that you will have a huge home court advantage against UConn. There will be at least 10,000 UK fans (probably more) in the house and every one of us will be rooting for Iowa State to knock off UConn.
