Actually, I saw it on the first day of release. And haven't had the urge to see any of the rest of them. Like Jerry Seinfeld's girlfriend said when she broke up with him after seeing his act, "It was just so much fluff." Part of the problem may have been the projectionist. When the opening segment with the text going by started the film broke and so we didn't see what that said. I remember after they got it going again there were all those mechanical camel things going along...I have no idea how much we actually missed.
And I didn't really understand if the old guy with the wisdom/force thing was actually dead or not. He kept talking to Luke all through the movie. I thought maybe he was going to come back in the end of the picture.
Now its been a LONG time since I saw it so maybe some of this isn't right... I just remember being underwhelmed with the film. Thought it was pretty juvenile, but I was 22 at the time and if I'd been 10, maybe I'd think it was the greatest.
