After watching that I do not see how ISU people can do anything this Saturday other than come out and play/coach/cheer like their hair is on fire.

I can't wait.

I'm not real sure how you define "it" when you're recruiting someone or where that shows up in evaluations, but Jake Knott has a lot of "it."

Exactly. He's going to make some NFL team better every Sunday.

Honestly, WTF. I couldn't believe someone asked that.

Me either - I can totally understand what he was getting at - that quality of life-wise baseball players don't deal with the stuff that football players do. But holy crap was this neither the time nor the place to bring that up.

They'll probably have it on cyclones.com later tonight. I am a sappy woman, but holy crap that whole thing breaks a person's heart.

It was obviously hard for Jake to come out there and answer those questions, but he did a great job. And he's given Iowa State almost more than you can ask of a person.

What we all need to do is come out on Saturday and support his teammates and do our part to make ALL of them as proud as they make us.

What a Man. He wouldn't break down like that if someone took a pickaxe to his shoulder.
