Roy Marble advised Monte Morris to attend ISU

Just read a story on Hawk Central that Roy Marble advised Monte Morris to attend ISU. Said some nice things about ISU, Fred Hoiberg and Barry Stephens. He told Monte Morris that the state of Iowa has been very good to Flint, MI players. I'm sure he would have pushed him to go to Iowa but said Iowa wasn't recruiting a point guard this year but still wanted him to go to a school in Iowa and pushed for ISU. I think he's a pretty good player and will develop into a good/possibly great player. Congrats to ISU for landing him!

Classy thing by Marble, ..... The thing I know about Flint is the MSU Flintstones that beat Iowa State in 2000

Marble was a great player, hasn't his alumni status been an issue at times for Iowa? If he has pull with kids I guess it's good that he thinks highly of ISU enough to encourage them to look our way, but I will be ****** if Jeff Grayer sends a player to Iowa.

I think it would be wise to steer any guard to ISU to play for FH. It certainly can't hurt their game.

Saw that and that's nice of Marble but that guy isnt exactly a pillar of the community these days.
