Here's my early prediciton...these kids are going to work very hard, and Edozie is going to stand out/be a crowd favorite due to tireless work ethic and hustle.

Does anyone else get the feeling that Gibson will transfer after this year? I have no info on this, but he isn't getting much PT this year and with the arrival of these two next year, there is a good chance he will get even less.

Fred said Monday night that he expects Percy to step in and start at the 5 next year. I think Percy knows he will have a big role for the remainder of his career here.

Interesting. I would have guessed they would have Ejim and Niang for the 4 & 5. Hopefully he continues to improve, it would be very good to have an effective player with his size on the inside

Amardi's eligibility is probably the result of the 5 year rule where a player has only 5 years from the time he originally enrolls in school. He must have enrolled somewhere 4 years ago.

CW- Saw an article a while back that Amardi is putting an appeal to the NCAA for an extra year. However, they won't know for a few years if gets it. Any truth to this?

Yeah I was surprised to see that as well but it's really too far out to make many guesses as to what we'll look like next fall. We could have a different style to some extent and it's anyone's guess as far as the rotation goes. One thing I'm really hoping for though is that Georges teaches Percy several new moves down low so he can become a more-versatile scoring threat on the block. I wouldn't be surprised to see his mid-range jumper continue to improve, as we've seen it in glimpses this season.

yeah, that is interesting... If Gibson is CFH's anticipated starter at 5, Georges will man the 4 (obviously). I wonder if Fred is planning on starting Ejim at the 3 then? Melvin has obviously been working on his outside shot with CFH over this past year and it has shown. Just a thought.

If Ejim is the three then our young guys aren't ready and/or Fred is switching to a traditional lineup.

You could almost consider Georges more of a 3 than Ejim. At least, I think he handles the ball and passes better.

If Edozie can come in and be like Calvin Godfrey from 2 years ago, he will be a favorite of mine. Hard nosed, scrappy, solid rebounder and defender.

It's obvious that if Ejim is going to play at the next level, he has to play the 2 or 3 so Fred is putting him where he needs to be. Also, until these other guys get here, it's hard to tell if they are ready to step in and start.

Obviously we all know that with Hoiberg, starting line ups don't really mean that much and will change a lot throughout the season based on matchups and such.

With that said, I could see him playing bigger with Percy (5), Niang (4), Ejim (3). 3/4 is sort of interchangable in our system, so basically you have Niang that will control the ball more and Ejim probably would defend the 3 in that scenario.

That line up limits our 3 point shooting, but we could play big, and still play fast with that situation.

I think that strategy would help take the pressure off of a very young/inexperienced back court.

If Hogue would probably find time at the 3/4 spots and Armardi/Edozie backing up the 5, especially for defensive matchups.

We should have a lot of depth next year, and be able to play very fast and may have to rely on more transition scoring to balance the loss of fire power of McGee, Clyburn and Babb.
