You are saying we can lose four of our last five games and get in?Pitt won, phew. Though as long as ISU beats OSU Wednesday, I think ISU is a lock barring lots of bubble chaos.
Better win two then.Just now on CBS Doug Gottlieb just predicted Iowa in the tournament if they get to 9-9 in conference. If Iowa gets in and we don't, we'll never hear the end of it...
Virginia takes over ISU's spot on last 4 in
Has Lunardi already updated since the Virginia loss?
can't say for sure. Just rumors from Virginia fans. Anybody have Lunardi's class confirm?
I am in his class. I haven't received an e-mail with the update. I'm not sure how far Virginia will fall but it would have to be a decent amount. That is a bad loss.
Where were they before the loss?
They were 40th, we were 47th. There are two auto-bids in between so they would have to fall five spots which is feasible.
Iowa can get to twenty wins with two victories at home against Illinois and Nebby. It is possible. Then the tournament. The last I looked we were stuck at 19.Here's to Illinois beating Iowa on Tuesday to end any hopes of them getting an at-large NCAA bid once and for all.

If they win two more games their rpi would drop closer to 70 and then they would have the Indy tournament to do some damage. They are still in the hunt. If we had beat them, I would say they were totally out.The last I looked win totals don't matter to the selection committee. And the bigger number is 54 vs. 91.
