Is Sioux City one high school or four in this discussion? In the Des Moines media it's usually referred to as one high school and would easily be the best choice for basketball, probably still not football though.

As long as we are arguing over the Catholic schools, might as well pick Xavier in Cedar Rapids since they have the best recruit out of any of them in '14 (Matt Nelson)

My vote would be Dowling (and I'm a Valley grad).

The answer should have been Aplington-Parkersburg if Ed Thomas was still coaching. He had his kids ready to play at any level.

A few years ago I would have said A-P. Now, I'd go with Dowling or Bettendorf.

Why waste it? Lots of years, there' not gonna be a kid at that high school worth 'shipping.

So, let's pick one in Texas or Florida.

Being this in the football forum, I have to laugh at this one. Linn-Mar hasn't put out any quality D1 talent since the early 90's. I graduated in 94 and I don't think any of my classmates got any sniffs from D1 schools, and it's gone down hill since. I know there was a stretch of a few years where they only won like 1 game...in three years.
