At best he'll make the practice squad, but I'd say thats a long shot unless they see special teams potential in him.

Maybe he should join Jake Knott on the Eagles. Jeremy Maclin is out for the year and now there's video of Riley Cooper dropping the N-word at a concert.

They may be in need more WRs soon.

You forgot Earl Bennett who is higher than Hester on the depth chart. I've got no love for the Bears, but you can make a credible argument that their wide receivibg corps is ranked anywhere from 2nd to 4th in the NFC North. Outside of the Packers, the rest is pretty muddled.

You do know that the Vikings got Jennings? While I think Jordy Nelson is good, I dont think the Packers have the best WR's...Id probably give the edge to the Lions.

Hester is no longer a WR. Marc Trestman, the new head coach, is making Hester strictly a returner.

Jones, Jordy, and Cobb are the best 3some of wideouts in the North.
The Lions have Megatron and... nobody.
The Bears have Marshall and...
The Vikings have Jennings coming off an injury plagued season and...

The Packers have the best WR corps by far.

Unfortunately as a Vikings fan, I disagree. As a group, I'd still go with the Packers. There was a reason they were willing to let Jennings go, because they have a lot of young talent. Of course Megatron is the best receiver in the division (maybe the game) but the drop off is steep after him for the Lions.

A lot of it may have to do with the QB, but as a whole, the GB WR's will outperform any other team in the division.

Here's a fun stat from last year.
For the season, Minnesota had 8 receiving TD's made by wide receivers
Detroit had 15
Chicago had 17
Green Bay had 35

Green bay has the best wideouts in the North. It's not even close.

As a impartial Cowboys fan looking at the NFC North the Packers have the best WR corp by far. The only argument you can make against them is they have the best QB in the division throwing to then while the other 3 teams have meh QB's. But that is not much of an argument.

Gee, you don't think some other factor may be at play there, other than the quality of the WRs?

Not necessarily even disagreeing with you... Just saying to use that as proof for your argument is ridiculous

So, what does all this have to do with Josh Lenz? Is there some point I'm not seeing about how this helps/hurts his chances?

With the numbers he put up at his Pro Day I think he has a shot. There's obviously more to it that talent, but he's a hard worker and reliable too.
