How did UNLV and UCLA get in the race this late, even with the Findley Prep move? I get how Kansas came in "late" but I don't get how those two schools made up that much room within a few months.

With all the 247 Crystal Ball dudes updating to ISU in the last week I think we have a silent commit on our hands and Rashad and Fred are working out the details of the announcement and subsequent parade. The parade's cost is probably why the SEZ is still in the "planning" stages.

UNLV hired Findlay Prep's Head Coach (Todd Simon) this past summer as an assistant.

Did Vaughn ever say his next cut would be 7 or 8 schools? To me, UCLA, Arizona, and Georgetown are done and UNC is going to pick up a commitment from Robert Johnson with their last scholarship, and Kentucky and Vaughn have cooled off. To me, I believe the order is: Iowa State, UNLV, Baylor, Kansas, Minnesota. His next list shouldn't be more than 5 as I feel that UNC and Kentucky are out of the picture now. UNC for sure, Kentucky very likely.
