If relationships were everything Isaac Hamilton would still be at UTEP.
You've been recruiting him since 7th grade. We've been recruiting him since June.
There's a reason we're considered one of the favorites.

I'm saying this to be friendly. You don't have to take my advice. If you multi-quote everybody that says bad things about UNLV in this thread you are drawing them out. I don't want that. I don't want to see another ******* match between you and everybody you respond to. THAT is why you have been called a troll by some. A good NON-troll can roll with the punches and not have to give a rebuttal to every UNLV slight they get on an ISU forum. Ignore them. Please.

I appreciate the info you have provided. The problem is that you seem to be unable to NOT respond to every dooshcanoe in this thread bashing UNLV. That is going to happen. Some here are going to put your school down when we are in direct competition for a very good recruit. You should know that going into it.

Anyway... I think both of our schools should worry more about Kansas. They are my biggest worry (no offense to UNLV). One of the biggest selling points to any recruit is playing near family. Kansas has a history of having family members of really good recruits suddenly get jobs in Lawrence. Then, mysteriously, after the kid goes to the NBA, they don't live or work there anymore.

maybe we should start saying really positive things about unlv. then he wont have anything to respond to and will go away. (it doesnt need to be true, nor do we have to mean it)


UNLV is a spectacular academic institution. in no way do i think they are using a prep school as a front for illegal recruiting activities. this vaughn2unlv guy is a great poster that brings a lot to the board.

Not really sure what people are really arguing about. Iowa state is clearly a serious player for Vaughn; ISU isn't Kentucky or UNC so no reason to keep us in the running for appearances, we're not the hometown team. UNLV is by all accounts a serious option and no question in my mind RV takes his official there. Would just be too big a snub for the current local school even if Vaughn had all but decided to go elsewhere.

People can argue till they're blue in the face which school he 'should' go to but it don't make a lick of difference.

I like that instead of Las Vegas being pretty cold during the winter like Ames, it's miserably ******* hot in the summer. Soo much better.

I like it that they included a V in their school's acronym, otherwise it would be UNL -- and then I'd need to go take a shower in Germ-X.
