I don't think I have ever seen ISU win 8 games. and for me not winning 8 next year wont be a game changer.

I'm curious, did people expect to win?

Sure I expected us to compete but a loss is a loss whether it's by 1 or 64.

Baylor just doesn't let off and go for it on practically every 4th down. Poor sports, hate Baylor, hate Kansas, hate Texas. This conference sucks I want to leave it.

Looking like you don't even belong of the field with Baylor is a little disheartening. That is a team that we used to point to as "W" on the schedule.

The talent disparity looked pretty wide tonight.

I've posted a couple comments about concerns about being where we are in year 5 of this coaching regime. I was really hoping I was wrong. Sorry Coach Rhoads, you've got a big problem and this program is near a tipping point to a very bad place. Talent may be an issue, but it's not THE problem. Somebody better figure out quick that today's game is about offense and there better be some accountability around the debacle on that side of the ball.

Laugh all day long, if we can't get to this level next year, then we need a re-org on the coaching chart

We need "re-org" on the coaching chart starting last year. Our offense is a MESS(ingham).

I was disappointed with the team's showing. Getting beat in all 3 phases of the game. Not even close. I could take it a bit more if we put up 3-4 TD's and at least had some moments in the game. Disappointed in the effort of the whole team today. Still, I'll be there next week to see them take on OSU. Go State!

I looked at my dad this afternoon and told him that Baylor could easily score 70 points. He thought I was crazy and I just told him to watch. I must have been the jinx. Sorry guys.

At the sake of getting thrown into the "moral victory crowd" - all losses are not the same. There are losses like FSU in 2002 that give a team confidence and provide the fanbase hope and excitement. Then there are losses like tonight. People that can't see the difference are clueless.

a tipping point? going from mediocre to bad for a season happens sometimes when you lose a ton. we really sucked for a while now but we had the D to keep out head above water. don't worry so much we will become mediocre once more I promise you.

That's a loss that shakes your faith down to your toes. Just sayin.

I expected a three to four touchdown loss, something along lines of high 40s to low 50s to 20-something. Baylor's D is nothing special, and K-State showed how to be successful. We didn't even compete for 5 minutes.

This is the kind of loss that costs half the coaches in the BCS their jobs. It's a massive setback and calls into question the legitimacy of the whole enterprise. It's potentially a regime killer many places.
