Ames doesn't play defense, but their offense is legit. Ames and Waukee both have a lot too prove this next round of games. Valley and Dowling are the historically great teams, while Ames and Waukee are new contenders. Should be some fun games for the west side of the state!

Why, so another school can come into Ames and offer him a scholarship? If you're going to take a chance on a kid, why not one that obviously has some talent, won't get homesick and leave, and should never have any academic problems. No offense to Albert Gary, but watch him return a kickoff. If he is currently our best option there, Kwah Mensah is better than a lot of guys currently on scholarship.
I will be interested in what happens with the recruiting interest in him between now and Feb. Kinda think things will accelerate.

72-37 Ames. This game is a perfect example of how a Defense feeds off of the offensive performance. The game was close halfway through the 3rd quarter but Ames got a couple big plays/quick scores and the Defense just started to tee off.

Pretty sure ISU would love to have him too.

Just imagine what this guy could do after a redshirt year and running behind a seasoned line...All he needs is a little space to be gone. What's almost crazier is that Ames has that good receiver also so just think if Mensah was the only offensive weapon...I can't get over the yardage he's racked up and I hear he didn't play much in the second half of a lot of games this year!

I haven't watched any HS football this year. Is Ames good enough to beat Dowling?

Nobody is good enough to beat Dowling. They've whipped everyone they have played. They have been beyond dominate the last like 4-5 years. How many undefeated regular seasons do they have and conference championships? It seems like they win it every single year. Last year wasn't as good for Dowling but they were still top 10 right?

Think how awesome it would be if we signed him and another running back named Norm. We could run two back sets where the back field was Sam, Cliff, and Norm.

Coaches please make this happen. That seasons football poster almost writes itself!!

Too bad Woody is a senior.

I think we should offer Kwaw-Mensah. He's got talent and would probably commit if we offered. Ames' whole offense is pretty good, their QB is impressive. We might as well hire their offensive coordinator too.
